Don't forget to read food themed ABC books like Eating the Alphabet by Lois Ehlert and The Edible Alphabet by Carol Watterson.

Use foods shaped like letters to sequence the alphabet, write student's names or spell high frequency words with Post's Alpha-Bits cereal, Alphabet Cheese-its, Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies, etc.

Make letter collages using foods that begin with the same letter. For example, use Fruit Loops to fill in a giant outline of the letter "F", or m&m's to fill in an outline of the letter"M", or Goldfish crackers to fill in the outline of the letter "G".
