Write Letters Right: Write-On!
Writing is a fundamental skill to help young children learn to recognize and form the letters of the alphabet (Ehri & Roberts, 2006).
When learners are learning to read and write, they are just not learning a set of skills, but they are acquiring a network of strategies for operating on and with text (Waters, 1999).

Writing and learning to form your letters correctly does not have to be a boring paper and pencil task. "Seal the Deal" by making writing exciting. Use some alternatives to your trusty No. 2 like Air Writing, Sand Tray Writing, Table-top Shaving Cream Writing, Dry-erase Board Writing, Magna Doodle Writing,Jumbo Chalk Writing on the sidewalk, playground or school walls, Paintbrush Water Writing on cloudy black chalkboards, etc.

In fact, you don't have to write at all. Let your body be your pen, pencil, marker or paintbrush as you learn the letter forms by movement. So, get moving and grooving and learning!
